In a recent campaign, Milco sent promoters across UAE supermarkets to educate consumers on the freshness of chilled products. This follows the launch of the ‘Fresh-Check’, an intelligent sticker aimed at monitoring the freshness of products it is placed on.
Promoters spread out through the refrigerated isles to speak to customers and explain to them how the Fresh-Check indicator works. They also distributed booklets and leaflets that contain valuable information about the cold chain process, the verification of the product’s freshness, the goods’ shelving and storage, and the Fresh-Check indicator itself.
The objective of this exercise is to solidify Milco’s commitment to freshness and reassure customers of their products’ high quality.
Commenting on this promotion, Brand Manager Nadine Traboulsi said: ‘it is very important for us to demonstrate the complexity of the cold chain process to customers. It is not as simple as placing products on a truck and sending them to the supermarket shelves, we apply very strict methods to our system in order to ensure that our customers take home the very finest in fresh juice and dairy products.’
Customers who purchase Milco products no longer have to worry about the expiration date, they simply have to keep an eye on the Fresh-Check indicator to tell whether a certain product is consumable or not. Finally, freshness that you can see!
